Booking terms

These terms apply when you book an appointment with ClinoTrend Health & Aviation through this website, by phone or by WhatsApp. Our booking form refers to them as our booking terms and conditions.

1. Your booking

An online booking is confirmed on screen as soon as you choose a free time. For an aviation medical, please send the SACAA application form online before your appointment. If we cannot keep the time, we will contact you to arrange another. Opening times: 08h00 to 16h30 Monday to Thursday. Friday 08h00 to 14h30.

2. Information you give us

Please give accurate contact details so we can confirm and remind you. For aviation medicals, SACAA requires you to give a full and truthful medical history and sign a declaration on the SACAA form.

3. Changing or cancelling

Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to change or cancel, by calling 011 568 7979, sending a WhatsApp to 078 255 1405 or using the link in your booking confirmation, so that we can offer the time to someone else. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.

4. Fees and payment

We will tell you the fee for your appointment when you book. If you plan to claim from a medical aid, bring your medical aid card and ask us whether your plan covers the service, as cover differs between services and plans. Self-pay patients receive a quote before treatment.

5. The outcome of a medical

A medical examination is an assessment against the applicable medical standards. The outcome depends on your health and on those standards, so we cannot promise that a certificate will be issued, or issued on a particular day. Some applicants need extra reports or a SACAA review.

6. Privacy

7. Emergencies

Online booking is not for emergencies. In an emergency, call 10177 or 112 from a mobile phone, or go to your nearest emergency unit.
